30 km from the N7, 7 km from Algeria Cederberg Wilderness, the Grootkloof Chalet and Camping Site is in reach of every nature lover. The noises in the mountains will only come from baboons and leopards. SELF-CATERING ACCOMODATION Grootkloof Chalet 1 This completely private self-catering chalet, surrounded by fynbos and citrus trees, offers stunning views of the Cederberg mountain range. The black eagle soar the sky above the chalet. Situated on the banks of theRondegat River, visitors can swim in a natural swimming hole, do mountain biking or hiking and become part of the silence nature offers. The self-catering unit is fully equipped with microwave oven, fridge, toaster and kettle. It sleeps 4, one bedroom with a double bed and two single beds in the living room. We do supply bedding, but not extra blankets in winter and no towels. The bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet. Safe parking, an outside braai facility and the swimming hole promise great fun-stay moments. Grootkloof Chalet 2 This self-catering unit is fully equipped with microwave oven, fridge, toaster, 2 plate oven and kettle. It sleeps 5, one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and two single beds in the middle room. We do supply bedding, but not extra blankets in winter and no towels. The bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet. Safe parking, an outside and inside braai facility and the swimming pool promise great fun-stay moments. CAMPING SITE Grootkloof Camping Site: These 15 campsites are nestled at the foot of the Cederberg Mountains. Surrounded by fynbos and citrus trees and ± 200 m from the Rondegat River, visitors can swim in the river or become part of the silence nature offers.
